FIRST YEAR
101 BASICS OF CHRISTIAN GROWTH:
This class is designed to introduce the student to the
fundamentals of Christianity: True Repentance, The Nature of Sin, The Deity and Humanity of Jesus, The
Fruit of the Spirit, Prayer, The Spirit Filled Life, The Trinity, and Practical Evangelism. Textbooks are
required.
102 HOW TO UNDERSTAND GOD’S WORD:
This class is designed to introduce the student to the
basic rules for proper interpretation of Scripture (Hermeneutics), covering: Textual Transmission,
Canonization, The Historical Grammatical Method, Unity of the Scriptures, etc. It is suggested that you
complete Class 101 prior to taking this class. Textbooks are required.
103 ROMANS:
This class is designed to cover the Major Doctrines
that deal with Salvation: Condemnation, Justification, Sanctification, Glorification, and Consecration. It is
suggested that you complete classes 101 and 102 prior to taking this class. A New American Standard Bible is
required.
SECOND YEAR
201 DISCIPLESHIP:
This class is designed to confront the student with the
Biblical description of a disciple. Challenging him to introspect his faith in Jesus. It is suggested that you
complete the first year of classes before taking this
class.
202 Part I - 203 Part 2 PERSONAL EVANGELISM:
This is a 2 part class that is designed to help the believer in their personal witnessing. We will use the book of Acts as our guide. This class MUST be taken
in sequence. A New American Standard Bible is our textbook.
THIRD YEAR
301 FINANCES:
This class is designed to examine the Biblical concept
of finances and to challenge the believer to use his resources in a Biblically approved manor.
302 CHRISTOLOGY:
This is an in-depth study focusing on: The Deity and
Humanity of Jesus Christ; including Jesus’ Death, Burial and Resurrection, emphasizing the Scriptural
basis for these beliefs. This class MUST be taken before Cults 303. A textbook is required.
303 CULTS:
This class is designed to introduce the believer to
major cults and cultic systems that confront historical Christianity. Due to the nature of this class, ONLY
those who have completed classes 101, 102, 103 and 302 will be allowed to take this course. A textbook is
required.
FOURTH AND FIFTH YEAR
401 HOW TO TEACH GOD’S WORD:
This class is designed to train and prepare the believer
to present lessons based on Scripture, covering different techniques and methods of presenting the
Word of God. A Textbook is required. Classes 101, 102, and 103 are prerequisites for this course.
402 APOLOGETICS:
This class is designed to assist the Christian in
defending the Historical faith in Jesus Christ as the
only way to God. It is suggested you complete classes
101, 102, and 103 before taking this class. A textbook is required.
403 - 503 OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT
SURVEY 4 PARTS:
These 4 classes will take the student through the entire
Bible, giving an over view of the historical outline of God’s Revelation. A textbook is required.
ADDITIONAL CLASSES
601 GREEK AND HEBREW TOOLS
This class is designed to introduce the students to the
current language tools that are available today. Tools are now available by computer that will open up the
study of the God’s Word in the original languages. Knowledge of Greek or Hebrew is not required for this
course.
602 PAUL’S PRISON EPISTLES:
Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and Philemon. In
this class we will examine God’s instruction to His Church through Paul when he was in prison. The New
American Standard Bible is our textbook.
603 - 604 PAUL’S PASTORAL EPISTLES:
1 Timothy, Titus, and 2 Timothy. This is a two part
course. In this class we will examine God’s
instructions to the Church, concerning its leaders and
it’s conduct as the “Household of God”. The New American Standard Bible is our textbook.
701 - 702 CHURCH HISTORY
This is a two part class designed to introduce the
student to the History of the Christian Church,
covering the major divisions and historical breaks,
including a parallel history of the Jews. A textbook is required.
703 HEBREWS:
This class is an in-depth study of the Book of
Hebrews. The New American Standard Bible is our
textbook.
801 - 803 SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY
This is a 3 part course that is designed to introduce the
student to the Major Doctrines in Theology. Because this class will cover the total of Scripture it is highly
recommended that the following classes be completed before taking this class. 101, 102, 103, 201, 302, 303,
403, 501, 502, and 503.
MC 100 TJTA
This class is designed to train Ministers, who are
currently in active ministry to use the Talyor-Johnson Temperance Analysis test for counseling.
HIS LOVE MINISTRIES is supported solely by
donations, given on a voluntary basis.
There are no fees or collections taken for any classes or services.
A
tax receipt is given to those who support this work..
Textbooks are purchased at the student’s expense.
Classes are held in the Spring (March - June) and Fall
(September - December). All classes are
approximately 14 weeks.
